Custom full-stack web development
Full-stack development covers both sides of a web app, what users see (frontend) and what happens behind it (backend, database and integrations). It's what you need when an informational page isn't enough and your project has users, data or processes to automate.
When you need custom development
- Your business has a manual process (sign-ups, orders, reports) that eats hours every week.
- You need users to log in and see or manage their own data.
- You want to connect several tools: forms, databases, email, WhatsApp or external services.
- You have a product idea and need a working first version to test it.
Projects I’ve built
Some real examples, with their code or demo available:
- Good Life Insurance. A professional website and automated customer sign-up for an insurance company. Result: +50% customers and +40% company growth. Read the case study.
- URL shortener. React frontend and a serverless AWS backend (Lambda, DynamoDB and API Gateway). See demo.
- CaseShell. A platform for investigating technical incidents inside a virtual environment with a terminal and files, built with Next.js and TypeScript. It placed 4th in a hackathon. See demo.
- NotiDev. A daily news platform published automatically with n8n, built with TanStack Start. See demo.
- Last War forum. A forum for groups of a video game, built with Vue and Supabase. See demo.
How I work
- First conversation. What problem the app solves, who uses it and what’s essential for the first version.
- Proposal. Scope, technologies and phases. If something can be solved more simply, I’ll tell you.
- Building in steps. I show you progress you can try, instead of waiting until the end to see the result.
- Launch. The app goes live, on its domain and ready to use.
Simple architecture
Most projects don’t need a complicated architecture. I prefer solutions that are easy to understand and maintain: fewer moving parts, fewer dependencies and clear code. That makes future changes cheaper, whether I make them or another developer does.
If your project is smaller, like presenting a product or capturing leads, a landing page may be enough.
Frequently asked questions
What technologies do you use?
On the frontend I work with React, Next.js, Astro, Vue and Tailwind CSS, using TypeScript whenever the project allows. On the backend I use Node.js, Supabase and AWS services such as Lambda, DynamoDB and API Gateway, depending on what the project needs.
Can you automate processes we currently do by hand?
Yes. At Good Life Insurance I automated customer sign-up, which used to be slow and manual. At NotiDev, the daily news publishing runs on its own with n8n workflows.
Do you take on projects that are already underway?
Yes, as long as I can review the code first. That way I can tell you clearly what to keep, what to fix and what to rebuild.
How do I know what technology my project needs?
You don't need to know. Tell me what the app has to do and who will use it, and I'll propose the simplest option that does the job. Choosing something more complex than needed makes development and maintenance more expensive.
Have a project in mind?
Tell me what you need. I usually reply within 24 hours.
