QR digital menu for restaurants

A QR digital menu is your restaurant's menu turned into a web page. Customers scan the code on the table with their phone camera and instantly see dishes, descriptions and prices, without downloading any app.

Why move your menu online

A printed menu has two problems: reprinting costs money and it’s always out of date. When a price goes up or a new dish comes out, the usual fix is crossing things out, sticking on a label or telling customers in person. With a digital menu you change it once and everyone sees it, at the table and outside the restaurant.

It also answers a question that arrives on WhatsApp every day: “can you send me the menu?”. Instead of sending photos of the menu, you send a link.

What’s included

Using the Don Chaker demo as an example:

  • Categories so customers go straight to what they want: deals, empanadas, arepas, breakfast, chicken, red meat, fish, pasta, burgers, Middle Eastern food, sandwiches, salads, snacks, coffee and drinks.
  • Dish search, useful when the menu is long.
  • A description for each dish, with ingredients and portion size where relevant (for example, “150 g shawarma with fresh vegetables and sauces”).
  • Visible prices, including the reference prices commonly used in Venezuela.
  • A deals section at the top, for what you want to sell first.
  • Fast loading on phones, even on mobile data.

How the QR code works

The QR code only stores the menu’s address. That’s why it’s generated once and can be printed on tables, at the entrance or at the counter. Anything you change later in the menu (dishes, prices, deals) shows up when people scan the same code.

How I work

  1. You send me your current menu, even as photos or a PDF.
  2. We organize the categories and decide what goes first.
  3. I build the menu with your dishes and prices and we review it together on a phone.
  4. I publish it and hand you the link and the QR code.

Selling products instead of dishes? Then a web catalog is a better fit. It works the same way but is designed for shops.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a QR digital menu cost?

Between 100 and 200 USD, depending on how many dishes and categories your menu has and whether you need search, photos or several languages. I give you the exact price once I see your menu.

How long does it take?

Usually about a week from when you send me the menu with dishes and prices.

Do my customers need to download an app?

No. The QR code opens a regular web page in the phone's browser. It works with the camera of any modern phone.

What happens if I change a price or a dish runs out?

You change it in the menu and the QR code stays the same, because it points to the page, not to the content. No need to reprint menus or codes.

Can the menu have search and categories?

Yes. The Don Chaker menu has 15 categories, from empanadas and arepas to Middle Eastern food and coffee, and a search that shows a clear message when a dish isn't found.

Does it work for delivery or sharing on WhatsApp too?

Yes. Besides the QR code on the table, the menu has its own link, so you can put it in your Instagram bio or send it on WhatsApp to anyone who asks for the menu.
